Extra Info:
This variety is only known from a formerly very humid area near the Serrania Siberia. Du to climate change the area is now completely dry, at least for part of the year with no known consequences for these plants. S. tiraquensis v. aguilarii usually has exceptionally soft spines and more or less pink flowers.
