Extra Info:
S. trojapampensis usually grows in cracks between sandstone plates, forming large populations of rather big plants. In some places, it seems to form hybrids with nearby occurring Weingartias. Together with Sulcorebutia juckeri, it forms a group of Sulcorebutias, which is completely different to all other “southern” species. Without any doubt, this group stands closer to Weingartia than any other Sulco.
