Extra Info:
Sulcorebutia rauschii certainly is the most popular Sulcorebutia at them all. Even people who have nothing in mind with Sulcos often have S. rauschii in their collection. S. rauschii is very attractive for its appearance as well as for the flowers. Especially the colour of the body is very variable. S. rauschii has only been found on the southern part of Co. Ayrampo. Many attempts to find this species elsewhere failed so far. Even a short walk to the north from the main population not a single S. rauschii can be found.
