S. tarabucoensis v. callecallensis is one of favourite Sulcorebutias for many collectors. It has only been found on top of the table mountain Co. Calle Calle. It is one of the smallest Sulcorebutias, often forming large groups. The flower colour is quite variable over the distribution area, but uniform on many sites.
