Extra Info:
S. tiraquensis v. renatae is characterised by numerous, relatively soft spines and its large flowers. Spines are usually black, many different shades of brown as well as yellow. Flowers are violet or red. In several locations S. tiraquensis v. reanate mixes with some other Sulcorebutias (maybe S. tiraquensis v. oenantha) to form very unusual (lovely) forms, which have commonly been called S. spec. Julpe.
