Extra Info:
S. viridis belongs to the group of “green” Sulcorebutias, which populate the eastern slopes of the Cordillera Mandinga. In some places, it seems to form hybrids with S. crispata, which results in a great variety of forms. Further to the south, the very similar S. tarvitaensis has been found. It differs mainly by the size of the seeds, which are very large for S. tarvitaensis and rather small for S. viridis.
